This poster was created to fill a need in fundraising for my husband’s nonprofit CARE for AIDS. He works in the U.S. to raise money for the people living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya. Many of the U.S. donors have a preconceived notion of how HIV is affecting the Kenyan people based on what they know the disease to be in the United States. This poster is meant to show that distinction in order to raise awareness of the victimization in Kenya. (Graduate School Project)
